Just finished, this double-diorama of the creepy-as-hell Grady Twins from Kubrick's classic version of Stephen King's THE SHINING-

"Hello, Danny... come and play with us."

"Come and play with us, Danny."

"Forever..."

"...and ever..."

"...and ever."

The entire diorama is 6 1/2 inches long, 2 1/2 inches wide. Made with Super-Flex Sculpey, paper and cardboard.

I hope you enjoy the pics.

'ngah!  Man those guys are creepy!

Excellent before and after presentation! Very good job, HH!

I'd like to see a dio with the blood pouring out of the elevator and starting to sweep away the furniture.

This is astounding! Especially the bloody diorama. Your work is always incredible! Also, you never did tell me when you were going to sell me that masterpiece of a Godzilla 62 model you made. ;D

We lucky few who have the privilege of seeing your work here--my gosh, we are the lucky ones, indeed, Hussmann.  Hard to get through my thick head that the diorama is that size!  6 1/2 x 2 1/2--measuring that out on a piece of ordinary paper here--is unimaginably small.  To see your maginificent works in person must be a mind-boggling experience.

Tell me--you use Super Sculpy for most all of the figures, do you?  I seldom try sculpting anything (and the model-making world is all the better because of this!), but a friend suggested Apoxie Sculpt (I think I got that name right).  Have you ever used that?  Just curious.

I've never heard of it before, but now you've got me curious. One reason I like to use sculpey is that it comes in a variety of colors- no painting! It has to be baked, though. I presume Apoxy Sculpt doesn't have to be? And is it in only one color?

I think apoxie sculpt is what many action figure customizers use to customize their figures, but  I could be mistaken.

I looked up Apoxie and found this article which seems useful.  I'm sure a LOT of the model makers here have known about it for years, but I'd never heard of it until recently.
