I understand the interior of the Addams family home was a reuse of the set of Molly Brown's house from the "Unsinkable Molly Brown"(1964).

Love those Addams Family pics,I wonder if any more exist? I sometimes try and imagine old black and white films in colour,trying to see what the actual actors would of seen in real life.

Colour pictures are more realistic but black and white adds a touch of spooky feel that color can't match.

If there's one thing for which you can give Universal credit, it's for not colorizing their horror films.

Interesting! I did an image search but couldn't find anything.

The Ballroom was probaably what they reused.  Certainly spacious enough.  No doubt some changes were made in adapting the set from the Debbie Reynolds film, for the Addams family series.  As far as the Munster's are concerned, the early part of the film takes place at 1313 Mockingbird lane, and that may be the only time the original set was shown in color.  I also need to look at the pilot that was filmed in color.
