We have I-5 up the coast too.   ;D  I use it every day.

This southern stretch is surrounded by wall-to-wall towns.  They have all built out to the point that it is impossible to tell when you have left one town and entered another.

Maybe being spread out is too much hassle for the owners.  They only do the additional stores on a seasonal basis, like Spirit.

You very close to San Francisco?  Seems like that would be a good area for a similar store.

I wish they had them all over the country, so everyone could have access.  (But I also wish manufacturers made more varied, and better, product for them to stock.)

Nope.  Not in Cali.  Way up the coast.  But we could use one in Seattle or Portland.  I'd be willing to drive a bit to see one, just not all the way to LA.  hahaha

Fortunately, that population density hasn't really taken over 5 up here, but it's coming...  No doubt of that.  Still, I want to see this place at least once.

Hard to support a seasonal specialty store of this size.

At least one of the 2 permanent stores is right next to the 5 Freeway.  This is the major freeway that runs the length of our very long state.  It also is traveled daily by commuters from the southern bedroom communities that supply workers to Los Angeles.  Much of their commute is slow (or stationary) "rush hour" traffic.  The Halloween Club signs and displays get an awful lot of free exposure 24 hours a day.

It is always fun to drive by during the Christmas season and see all the brightly lit Halloween displays.

Fun place to visit. I always go there at least once a year especially in October. Mask prices are a bit high but the selection is amazing.

I bought a $4 electric, plastic but old fashion looking candle.  It's black and the light bulb is orange.  It's a nice decoration but it also makes a cool night light.

Greetings- I just found a 5 foot, "Paper Jointed Cutout" at DOLLAR TREE. "Imported by "Greenbrier International." It has no specific name (Mine would be "Vampire Woman in a purple dress"), but it is definitely based on an image of Yvonne DeCarlo as LILY MUNSTER with her streak of white hair among the black. (Sorry, no photo) i looked thru the stack and noted no other "MUNSTER"-related figures.

So I'm not the only one?   I saw that yesterday, when I went with my daughter that she reminded me of Lily. I need to pick that up, when I go to dollar tree later.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Didn't I read about her originally on this forum?  I picked her up in August.  Thought for sure we had a thread about it here.

Sorry if these have already been posted but I didn't see them in the thread.  I found these at Kroger yesterday, they are selling for $20 each. They are made out of a kind of chalky ceramic.  I didn't buy one only because the chins were kind of chipped up.  I'm hoping to find a better example at a different Kroger.

Welcome to the UMA, Diggertex !

Neat find! It's amazing where some things turn up.

I was in Kinney's today and bought a clear, plastic skull mug.  They also had a larger, pitcher sized skull of the same design.
