Invaders From Mars (1953).

I didn't see this movie until this year, but boy, has it become one of my new favorites.

That's kind of unusual! People who didn't see it as a kid (back when) don't usually warm up to it. Glad you did. One of my faves! :)

Really? That's a shame! They are missing out on one of the best sci-fi films of the 50s in my opinion. So glad I picked this one up.

I didn't get to see it until I bought it on DVD a few years ago, and I love it. I fully understand why it's considered a classic. Tobe Hooper sure seemed to think so as well (the shot-for-shot remake  :D).

Have you seen the UK edit? They really botched it! I've only seen it once and I may never see it again. Why waist my time when I could be watching the good one!

Been a while, but I don't remember it being that.

I was joking.. mainly referring to the shot of the fenceline that Tobe was so obsessed with.

I have the Special Edition "Wade Williams Collection" DVD that has both cuts. I just watched the UK Edit for the first time the other night and needless to say --- I won't be watching that version again!  ;D
