Robert Mulligan RIP

Robert Mulligan, the Oscar-nominated director of the classic 'To Kill a Mockingbird,' has died at the age of 83. He also helmed (among a dozen other films) 'Summer of '42' and one of the creepiest films ever, 'The Other'.

Ah... To Kill A Mockingbird's one of the greatest films ever made, and a personal favorite since childhood.

Thank you for all of them, Robert. Rest now.

He was also the brother of movie and tv actor Richard Mulligan (Soap and Empty Nest) who died several years ago.
