Check out the 36 min. mark when Kolchak walks out of the recording studio. That always cracks me up!

I noticed that when I was watching it..I kept thinking what a tool the guy in the studio was now that he got his money, but didnt want to cooperate for it.  :)

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Leprechauns : Origins - Typical, schlocky, modern horror (but not as corny as the originals)

The Creeping Flesh (1973)

Macabre romp involving the idea of evil being a contagious disease, among other plots and subplots. There's a LOT going on here but thanks to the talent involved it works. Tigon production features Hammer regulars Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee, and Michael Ripper, with direction by Freddie Francis. Not Cushing and Lee's best, but still really good. The thing that bugged me the most wasn't the overabundance of plot material, but the poorly shot sequence of Peter Cushing on horseback with a rider "double" who looked nothing like him in several too clear shots...c'mon Freddie.  ::) Anyway, it's a fun flick and very Hammeresque. Cool monster too, even though we don't really see much of it. Somehow this went under my radar until recently. Nice little gem to be discovered.

Sinister - Finally finished watching this (I kept losing interest the first few times). Not bad, could have been shorter.

The Flame Barrier(1958)

Why didn't they put that on a "Midnite Movies" disc?  They had the other 3 of the "Gramercy Four".

I sure wish someone would do an official release of "I was a teenage Frankenstein / Werewolf". Haven't seen those in ages.
