Has the picture changed?  (I don't remember the actor looking like a doubled image.)

I looks like a screen cap with a motion blurred image.

Zackuth is right. The picture is on board a space ship. Awfully roomy in there, isn't it!  ;D

I don't know, but I bet he's good with melted butter!

War Of The Satellites was a Roger Corman movie starring Dick Miller.

Apparently some sort of lounge area in this huge spaceship.  ;D

Despite the crude look of this creature, it is not from a Japanese movie.

This is a US production that was probably seen by most of the members here.

Nope.  Not a TV show.

Here is a clearer view with an "adult male" to show scale:

Some serious obscurity there. Are you related to Leonard Maltin or Michael Nelson from MST3K? 8)  I havent been able to guess any of these.

Is that from a FLASH GORDON serial?

DAMN you're good!

It is from Chaper 2 & 3 of the original "Flash Gordon".   Flash and the King of the Lion Men are in hand combat and they have to deal with this giant beast in the Tunnel of Terror.  The KOTLM shoots this thing with a rifle-looking gun that seemed to appear from nowhere.

Flash, "That ray gun came in handy."

The vanquished beast:
