Nope - No deliberate comedy element.

I just don't remember a scene like this at all.

Me neither.

But it bears the same coding as this 1958 U-I film:

And is listed and labeled as being issued to promote "Monster On the Campus" in this auction:

I just did - I still didn't see it.

Either it was mis-printed by the studio, or they were cut from the film.  I thought maybe they were playing in a campus square when the "monster" rampaged through or something, but I didn't see them - or ever hear any music that sounded like it would be coming from such a band.

Stills without monsters in them can be so generic that you wonder why the advertisers bother.

Easy. DAY THE WORLD ENDED

I was hoping you were taking a nap and someone else would chime in with "Target Earth" - thinking that was Robert Roark instead of Touch Conners.

I promise not to guess this 50s sci-fi movie.

That's the alien?

What's the name of it "Rocks"?

(I didn't mean you shouldn't guess - I was just hoping to snag a wrong one from someone first.)

Well, the planet has people aliens and monster aliens. This is the monster.

I thought it would be too easy if I put up a regular pic.  :D

This is killing me.  Those folds look so familiar to me, but....

Is it a theatrical movie, serial or Outer Limits episode?
