I think Charp13 was watching it. I saw her post something about it on Facespace.

What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

it was alright . the story had more wholes than a Rob Zombie script but that may have been to get it all up to speed. it is worth a look.
Everybody needs to believe in something , I believe I'll have another beer!

I missed it. I was either shopping or at the rehab center visiting my mother. From what I saw of it online, I don't think I missed much.

Did you ever see Bad Boys (1983)?  Clancy was in it, as a juvenile delinquent called "Viking", along with Sean Penn, Esai Morales & Ally Sheedy.  Good, but brutal movie.
I watch that movie every time it's on. Had to check out the Sleepy Hollow pilot, I worked with the guy who played the Horseman for a good chunk of the summer

Phantom Stranger

Much to my surprise,  I thoroughly enjoyed the pilot episode. I hope the rest of the series is this entertaining.

I enjoyed it as well but looks like it'll devolve into a typical "monster of the week" show, which could still work if done well.

ZH- I envy you so much right now!!! I bet it was an incredible show! I am listening to Tim Timebomb right this minute!!  :)
I watched Sleepy Hollow, and really enjoyed it. I think they are awesome for premiering the show this wonderful time of year- leading up to HALLOWEEN! And of course I admire everything Clancy Brown has ever been in or been part of in some way- Savage Opress...awesome! His voice is the greatest!
Bad Boys (1983) is a legend in our family!! My brother was visiting last week and we were discussing the radio scene- The Viking holding it up to his ear! Oh yeah!
I have high hopes for Sleepy Hollow. I really like EVERYONE on the show. The actor playing Ichabod is believable, and I liked the relationship between him & the police lieutenant. I had to go look up some stuff on the internet concerning apocalypse horseman, but other than that- I was able to follow the story, sit back & enjoy    :)

Not to mention, the show has some great-spooky atmosphere....definitely perfect viewing for the fall season!

The show was excellent, I've seen Rancid several times during the mid/late 90's and although you could tell they are older they still put on a show like they were 15 years younger!  Tim's side project was great as well.....also if you haven't heard them you should check out The Interrupters, they are the opening act for this tour and will be releasing their debut album on Tim's label very soon (they also guest on alot of Tim Timebomb's songs)!  They created a perfect trifecta for the evenings entertainment!

Ah! Rancid and all of Lars, Tim & Matt's side projects are just the greatest. I have seen them many times through the 90s and beyond, but I honestly think they get better every year! They are brilliant! I have not seen The Interrupters, but I will check them out. I missed the Atlanta show- we were out of town...ugh! But as long as I can keep my head down and pass myself off as a younger person (HA!), I will keep going to their shows! ( I keep a low profile and try not to draw attention)  You're still young, so you don't need to use my tactics- hahahaha! But seriously, when we go to see moderately older bands, like Social Distortion, there are so many different people in many different age groups- that's a great feeling  :)
I agree about the Sleepy Hollow atmosphere! They seemed to put a lot of money into the sets. I spazzed out when I saw George Washington in those couple of scenes. It was pretty cool to see him involved in the storyline.

The Creeper

I watched it and actually thought it wasn't bad.  Hope it gets better, I will continue to watch it.
Long live the UMA!

charp13

My whole family watched it, and we called each other to discuss it, (I guess we need more excitement in our clan- hahahaha), and my sister pointed out that FOX cancelled ALCATRAZ and she's still bitter because they didn't catch all the ghost prisoners before they cancelled it- So.....she's worried that Sleepy Hollow will be a" ghost capturing show" and she doesn't know if she wants to get involved- only to be hurt if they cancel it!  :)   She is sooo dramatic- HA! But I also hope they don't do the ghost or monster of the week route. I really have a good feeling about the show, because of all the secret files, conspiracies, and flashbacks. That's good stuff!

Mord

I agree with all the previous comments...love the atmosphere, the actors and Rancid. I hope the quality remains top-notch.

Wicked Lester

I missed the initial episode. Watched the American Ninja Warrior finals. Watched it yesterday, got bored in 10-15 mins and palyed Phrases with Friends(Wheel of Fortune) on my phone instead.
