Picked this up for $9.99 tonight at Target.

The copyright date is 2013. Not sure when it came out. I don't have DPOD or FCW on DVD, so I thought it was a good deal.

There's a thread somewhere on that. It's supposed to be the first disc rereleasing the Anchor Bay Hammer titles.

I can never have too many Hammer films.

Now that I think about it, I believe my only copy of LOT7GV might be VHS, so I guess I needed it, too.

Cool!  I don't have LOT7GV or FCW!

isn't there one of the dracula hammer films that's hard to find? Can't remember which one
It's all about the Horror.

Just got this on sale for $6.99.  The prints are exceptional (Prince of Darkness is sooo much better than the Anchor Bay version). I think "Scars of Dracula" is the hard one to find, though "Satanic Rites of..." isn't easy. Maybe this company will issue those next.

It appears to be in the public domain. There are several different releases of them on amazon, from the old AB, to Alpha.

Right, Mike. The last official release was on Anchor Bay which was the uncut version. I've seen some independent releases that were almost unwatchable.

You'd think they would just make copies of the AB?

I think a few did but some of the early ones I bought were crap. A few were from the shorter, American version "Count Dracula and his Vampire Bride".

Could be "Brides of Dracula".  It was a sequel which had Cushing as Van Helsing, but Lee's Count was left out.
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Mord

That's available on that Universal/Hammer 8 movie set.

Scars Of Dracula is the hard one to find (along with Horror Of Frankenstein on the Frank side). The DVD in my collection of Scars... is a copy I made from my VHS copy. I try to get everything on factory DVD but with certain titles it's tough.
