Cheap one?  If you see one, let me know.  I don't think any of them will go under 700 unless they are beaters.

you never know what you may find out there?
It's all about the Horror.

I hope you're right.  I'm looking for the Yeti and a decent Mighty Kong to have my small collection of Marx battery op. toys.

The more common an item is, the more picky I am. For instance, I'd like to have a boxed Great Garloo. For years, I've browsed eBay searching for "my" Garloo. The toy is pretty common, even in the box. But it still commands several hundred dollars.

Though boxed Garloos are easy to find; mint, unused examples are nearly impossible to find. The round serving tray is always punched out of the box. Inserts and instructions are usually missing. The toy looks played with. The foam on the hands and shoulders is rotted away. In 24 years of collecting, I have never seen a cherry mint, unused, unopened, unplayed with Great Garloo. I have never seen a box with an unpunched serving tray...
In about 1993 or 1994, around the time I bought the one Clint Toys Frankenbucket I have left, I came across an unused, un-punched tray, inserts intact, instructions basically unopened example of the Marx Great Garloo... it was in a "junk" shop in Somerville, NJ, and the toy then cost 200... was it 300?  I had even then seen at least a few boxed examples and it was too much for me.  It's a toy I never really wanted (though I love the windup) though now I wish I'd bought it.
If you want to view Paradise, simply look around and view it.

Nope. I got it covered.

I really love that tree! I had it as a kid and brought many hours of pleasure. Marx toys really had it all... playability, orignality, and physical beauty. The RC Frankenstein, the Spooky Tree, the Haunted House (not to mention those beautiful Uni Monster 6" figures) were by far the very best toys of the sixties. Thanks for the pic, Ray.
