Street Worm

I've been trying to remember this album for years
& figured maybe someone here would know it.

Obscure album I bought at Bradlees - probably in 1970.

(bought it based on the cool cover...pretty sure I never heard of the
band...in fact, I don't think I played it much after the first listen))

The cover shows the long haired band in an 'action' shot
(as opposed to just standing there for the camera)
& the members of the band seem to be made out of mercury
or some liquid silver material.

Any ideas?

I'm at a loss ..  :o

It sound psychedelic and I did an image search for psychedelic album covers but nothing close comes up.

Good luck, maybe someone else will hit upon it.

Do you remember what kind of music it was? What sub-genre.

Not really...going by the memory of the cover I'd guess Psychedelic or Hard Rock
(not something you'd hear on commercial 'AM' radio)

& I'd say the cover was more of a retouched photo of the band-
not a painting....

I was thinking maybe Quicksilver Messenger Service?

Not Angel. They're a little late for this with their first album out in '75.

Quicksilver's a good guess & the right time period, but it's not them-
and I played the grooves off their 1970 "What About Me" album.  ;)

Well, NOW I have a mission, ;D!

It does sound very psych and from that era it could be any band... this is a toughie
