Does anyone have a way to view this video?  Every youtube video of the episode has been removed or blocked.

If you're a Netflix/Roku subscriber, the entire Munsters series is available for instant viewing - uncut. By the way, I love that episode!

Wasn't the same episode thre one where the "munster Koach" debuted?

Thanks...I have it on netflix and never knew.  Paul Lynde is in it, too.

Cool episode. Herman thinks Lily is having another child.

I was surprised to see that there is NO WIRE on the little guy in the episode.  Take a look.  He seems to be wireless, but there is no way he could have had batteries on board.  Someone explain how they pulled that one off.  I thought maybe the wire was just removed from the film.

Isn't there a wind-up version MARX produced?

The head pops off on the Marx Frankie, during the show.  Was this something the Marx Frankie did, or was this one used in the episode rigged for the show?

The head popping off must have been just for the show, and the windup version looks nothing like the battery op. version.  If anyone knows how they operated him without a wire, let me know.

Frankenmarx

So no one has any idea how they powered Franky without a wire?

Monster Bob

There is a wire. One, very fine wire that obviously operates just the walking function.

Ahhh.  Now I have to go back and view the video a few more times.  Nice catch.

I just watched serveral times and cannot see any trace of wire, but my eyes aren't so good anymore.  Bob, can you see it, or are you just assuming it is there?

Mord

The Marx Frankenstein is also featured prominently on an "Alfred Hitchcock Hour" episode called "The Magic Shop" from 1964. The evil little kid plays with him while ignoring his mother's chastisement.
