HH, if you ever get a chance, I'd like to see a scan of that Werewolves book I asked about. I spent quite a while looking for a decent scan on the net but can't find one. I'm trying to determine if it's another Bob Larkin or not. I know it came out in hardcover with a real crappy line drawing for the art, but that paperback book cover looks pretty cool.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike, here is the cover I think you are looking for

HHWolfman's paperback collection is awesome! Unlike Wolfie, about half of my paperback collection came from eBay. I'd like to add a few more paperback pics to my good friend's images already posted. A couple might be repeats. Though not Universal, I thought some nice Hammer/British version paperbacks and Monarchs would be an interesting addition to this thread.
Best,
Richard

I love the artwork on the two Arrow Dracula paperbacks (I first saw these in my very first Famous Monsters magazine ~issue 22 ~Dracula/Renfield cover).
The 2 Omnibus books cover 8 Hammer films.

4 of the Monarch paperbacks as sold in Mad/Horror monsters magazine

The Dracula paperback came in at least 2 versions, I think. This is the Chris Lee cover.

The last two of the 6 Monarch books (from Mad/Horror Monsters magazine). An interesting Peter Cushing "Vampire Lovers" paperback.

Werewolf of Paris paperback (basis for Hammer's "Curse of the Werewolf") and the BBC Count Dracula. Also, Christopher Lee's Treasury of Terror and "The Skull" (I only posted it because of the Peter Cushing cover.

Best,
Richard

Those are awesome, Richard.  Thanks for the post.

Thanks for the info, HHWolfman.  I remember the Tomb of Dracula paperbacks also had to be read sideways.

I remember some of these from ads in the back of magazines.  The cover art on these old paperbacks is wonderful.  I remember an old Dell (I think) paperback of Saki stories I had as a kid that had a green-skinned, red-haired wolf-boy on the cover (in artistic reference to the story Gabriel-Ernest).

Recently, from eBay, I've gotten some great reference books – The Films of Boris Karloff, The Films of Vincent Price and The Frankenscience Monster.  Nothing particularly collectible, but great reading nonetheless.  Also got a bunch of Gold Key Mystery Comics Digests of Twilight Zone and Boris Karloff's Tales of Mystery.  (And a neat set of Kung Fu TV show paperbacks from '73.) Your collection has given me a lot of new things to add to my want list.  Thanks for that.

They're going to make you one of them, my peacock!

Yes!  A couple of months ago I stumbled onto this site and found a bunch of great things, including Famous Monsters Speak, Tales of the Frightened and some great Vincent Price albums.  Did you hear AnEvening with Boris Karloff?  That was terrific.

He also posted Dracula's Greatest Hits, which the dearly departed Sir Graves Ghastly used extensively on his show.
