I watched "Iron Man" twice the last couple of days. Great super-hero movie!

Watched "IRON MAN" last night as well.  Short scene appearing after the credits makes me think there might be an AVENGERS movie in the works.  I hope so.

Really enjoyed Iron Man....was not sure that  I would.  The only thing that I did not care for was the "big battle" at the end.   Does Hollywood know how to write a "big action" sequence anymore?  I am beginning to have my doubts.

Been watching Iron Man all week as my 3 year old loves the movie. I think by now I have the movie memorized.  :o

Was wondering if anyone on this thread might be interested in the following:

Each month, I would like to propse that, for those who are interested, we watch the same movie and then meet at a designated thread to discuss it.  Sort of like an online book club, but our genre would be a monster movie.  Like a book club, it would benefit those that are contributing to the thread to have viewed the movie in recent times, with a fresh viewing encouraged.  The focus of the thread would be only on that movie and direct connections to the film and hopefully we would learn a lot of insights about it here from one another.  Kind of a UMA Movie of the Month.

Bogey, that sounds like fun! Each individual would bring insights and observations that others may have missed or not though of. I'm up for participating.

Just finished watching The Monster Squad 20th anniversery set for the 2nd time in 3 days. Love that film. A real fun ride.
Have also been watching my Masters of Horror collection season 1 box set for the 3rd time. Some great stuff there.

I am hoping to learn a lot, as I know little.  I am thinking maybe one of the Universal classics that most everyone has access to may be the way to start.

Continuing the fun of our "weekly family leading up to Halloween installment":

Hocus Pocus (1993)

And that is just what this movie is, fun.  Some wonderful over the top colorful sets and characters.  In short, a movie that our five year old can enjoy with the rest of us.

Should be fun.  I will post a thread on November 1.  This will allow for the October rolls that some folks are (see me for prime example) to finish up their Halloween viewing.  :)
