The economy will continue to tank, and then recover, and then tank again every few years. It's called the business cycle. It has to do with the leveraged impact that inventory downsizing and rebuilding have on the overall economy. Look it up in your Economics 10 textbook. Much as the government has tried, they haven't been able to repeal the fundamental laws of economics.

Oh, and be very careful about calling other posters ignorant.

I have a bunch of  investment guys on my end saying that it will but there are variables with all the trends. Some of these guys predicted the peak in housing and eventual collapse 5 years before it happened.

Five years early? In the real world that's a recipe for at best losing all your clients, or at worst bankruptcy. That's alright though. You can always brag from debtors' prison that you saw it coming all along.
