I know Leon Ames is a rather obscure autograph; but Leon was a very talented and prolific actor. Even if you don't know his name you more than likely will recognize his face. Having starred in over 155 Movie and TV roles.
Billed as LEON WYCOFF he later changed his name to Leon Ames in 1935's "Mutiny Ahead"), .  He made his first screen appearance in  "Quick Millions" (1931) and work steadily till his last movie "Peggy Sue Got Married" (1986). Leon Ames passed away in 1993.
In 1933 Ames, with 18 other actors organized the Screen Actors Guild. He held SAG card number 15. Leon was president of Screen Actors Guild  [1957-1958]

Here are just a few of his films.
Murders in the Rue Morgue    1932 Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo    1944 Meet Me in St. Louis    1944 They Were Expendable    1945 Anchors Aweigh    1945 The Absent Minded Professor     1961 Son of Flubber    1963 Tora! Tora! Tora!    1970 Peggy Sue Got Married    1986

I usually don't care much for meeting celebrities or getting autographs (I have no idea what to say), but I could NOT RESIST when the Addams Family movies LURCH was at the SDCC a few years ago.  Loved the movies and loved Lurch.

Carel Struycken was extremely polite, it felt like he was nearly TWICE AS tall as me, and he looked at me very perplexedly as if he was trying to understand what I was saying through the whole ordeal.    ;D

Cool pic Splitty and welcome to the group!  He sounds like a nice guy.

Monsters For Sale

The kids look so TINY next to him.

Reminds of the P.T. Barnum publicity pictures of the world's smallest & largest men posing together.

Not a monster, but a rare autograph from musician Tonio K. I wrote to him in 1996 and he responded!

He's definitely the greatest songwriter you've never heard of. Here's one of my favorites:

Tonio K - 3 - Sons Of The Revolution - Amerika (1980)

In this age of political-everything, nice to hear someone speak some TRUTH for once!!
