Universal Monster Bash Pinball game for the iPhone and iPad!!!

I'm not sure if this is really considered a "toy" or not, but it's a game, so I figured it mostly fit in here. I was looking around the app store in my iPhone the other day and the featured game f the week was one called Pinball Arcade and it was free. So I figured, what the heck, and I downloaded it. I was a bit disappointed when I learned that the app itself was free but you had to buy the different tables to play in it (not much, only a buck or 2 each). My disappointment was cured pretty quickly when I found that the Universal Monster Bash table was one of the ones you could get for it! I quickly handed over my 2 bucks and have not stopped playing it since! I also learned that it is not only available for the iPhone and iPad but also for the PS3 in the PlayStation network store! The Monster Bash table is not available for it on the playstation yet but it will be available in the next few weeks via an expansion pack. It also lists the Creature From The Black Lagoon 3D table as being available for it soon! I'm not sure how many gamers there are here on the board, but I thought I would give everyone a heads up since a pinball app is not a place one would typically look to fund UM stuff!

I just got it..It was 3.99 but worth it.  At first I was kinda "Ehhhh.." about it (don't get me wrong, I've played the actual version, and loved it) but I find myself addicted to it. LOL  I wasn't able to find the Creature From the Black Lagoon machine, Hopefully they throw that up.

I'm a bit disappointed though.  I saw a free version of the app and a .99 version, I downloaded the .99 version, thinking maybe it was better..it doesn't seem to be different lol

It's a shame that there doesn't seem to be an app that features the various casino slot machines featuring the Universal Monsters.

Also, we're excited to announce that the new July tables for the Pinball Arcade will be Creature from the Black Lagoon and Black Knight!

Creature from the Black Lagoon was designed by John Trudeau (a.k.a. "Dr. Flash") and released by Midway under the Bally brand in 1992. It combines the excitement of Universal's classic monster flick with the fun of a drive-in movie date, and features a holographic "creature" set in the middle of the playfield that lights up and waves its hand back and forth during multiball play. This table is currently #17 on Pinside's list of the top tables of all time!

Black Knight is a Steve Richie-designed table released by Williams in 1980. This classic table featured the first-ever two-level playfield, and also the first use of "Magna-Save" (a patented feature in which a player-controlled magnet is used to prevent outlane drains). It's a true classic!

I can't wait! I've actually had the pleasure of playing both Creature from the Black Lagoon and Monster Bash live and in person when I was a kid.  If I ever win the lottery, Before TLC makes a show about me winning, I'm gonna buy those machines and put them in my Monster Room.
