Certainly a better Poe than he was Dracula. But, not "action hero Poe."

There should never be an action hero Poe so that solves that  ;)

Any truth to the rumor that Raven will be singing a rap song over the films closing credits? :P

I didn't like "action  hero" Sherlock Holmes.  What's wrong with a hero who actually uses his intelligence?

Agreed.

I rapped 'The Raven" poem one time.  And I'm not a rapper.

I saw the film friday night and really enjoyed myself. Cusack as Poe is awesome, the story and characters are very thrilling in this chilling movie. A bit gorey too but that I didn't mind at all, Poe is a bit gorey!!

I've always thought Gorey was a bit Poe, myself.

I saw it on Friday. I enjoyed it. It's got its flaws, but what movie doesn't? There was some CGI blood that didn't look great, but fears that it's another Sherlock Holmes-like action movie should be put to rest. As a mystery whodunit sort of movie, I'm not sure how well it functions, as the killer's identity kind of comes out of nowhere. Still, classic horror fans should find things to like about it. I was almost reminded of Weird Menace pulps a couple of times, but that may just be me.

All in all? Not the best movie ever, but far from the worst. Check it out and see for yourselves. Personally, I liked it.  ;D

Creature Features

Thought it was pretty good. Wish hollywood would do more murder/mystery stuff....

Memphremagog

I really enjoyed this! Saw it this weekend and it made a great contrast to the epic scale of the AVENGERS film. Nice, toned-down storytelling in a creepy setting.
