But is it an actual Haunted Hulk?

Picture from the auction

I don't remember the one I played with having the two masts.  Did Marx have more then one version?
What ever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

I may be wrong, but in my opinion. The ship bottom looks to be a haunted hulk, Unless its painted very well.but the masts and everything else is later issue And totally different masts, with homemade stickers applied. the purple web should be white with a pained black spider in the middle. and I can't tell what it looks like,so I'm guessing it's a different part. It reminds me of the one they showed in Playset magazines monster issue. it's going for about $300 more than I'd consider paying for it.
Mirabile dictu,don't you agree?

Are you saying that Playset magazine published a picture of an MPC Haunted Hulk that closely resembled the twin masted ship above that sold on Ebay?

???

Here's a comic shop tale.......... I hired a rather pretty young lady to run the shop on certain days. She was just out of high school. One of the regular customers took an interest in her, but she wasn't interested in him. He was skinny, talked too much, and most of what he said made little sense. We've all known that type of comic geek. Anyway one day, when business at the shop was slow, the young lady was working alone and this comic geek came in. He asked her if the shop had a certain comic, and she replied that it was in the back room and she would go get it. Well, comic geek followed her into the back room and tried to force a kiss on her. She freaked out and threw this guy off the walls for several minutes while in an uncontrolled panic. She was stressed out over the whole thing, and he was physically beat-up. No body pressed any charges. The girl stayed on, and the comic geek didn't show back up for several weeks. Probably till his wounds healed.........

I ran a comic shop from age 16 to age 22. I had girlfriends that were attractive. If you ever want to see grown men scatter like roaches~ invite your attractive girl friend over to the shop. Unfortunately, the same ones that scatter the minute she arrives also treat you as if you are a relationship therapist in her absence asking you for tips. The downside to being the nerd who actually got to marry the prom queen.  ;) ;D

I looked and it's not in the magazine. It was on a toy website I came across. They sold repop marx and mpc army men and play sets there. Sorry, hep I lose track of where I see things at times. I will find that pick and post it though! But the auction is over and it brought $404.00 wow!!!! If a incomplete fake sailed haunted hulk brought that much, how much is my real one worth???(doesn't matter, wouldn't sell it anyway!!)

above is the pic I had seen on that marx repop site, its a bit different than the ebay one. But the sails are the same.

The following thread might be the best place to post the pic and ask your question:

I couldn't find the "Show Off Your Weekly Finds" thread, so I'll just start one here. I bought this new when I was 8 years old. My copy is long gone, and I found this one at a Half Price Book store. The colors and graphics of this book and film really appealed to me back then, and still do today.
