Does the board have an update error?

I'm just guessing at this, but does the board update what posts or threads we've actually read?

It seems when i select new replies to my posts, that it's never cleared ut posts I've already read.

Same thing with show unread posts since your last visit.. I've checked a few threads, and the last post there I read a week or so ago.

So Its not actually updating read posts, or new reply posts properly.

That makes it a bit hard to see what's actually nw being posted, and to follow replies to thread we are trying iy follow. I figured there would be some minor glitches like this, but wanted to send a Head's up to the powers that be.

Just look for threads with (NEW) next to them.  Those are threads with new posts since you last visited them.

This is a very good inexpensive forum software.  It has a lot of bugs, and things don't always work as they perhaps should, or would with a much more expensive software.  Some of the modules added may have software conflicts with other aspects of the forum as well.  Your browser and your cookies are going to have an effect, which browser are you using?   Are you tossing any cookies the forum tries to set?

Hello Gareee. I've checked this out using the template that your using (Core), and haven't found any errors at my end. Unread posts and recent replies all appear to be working as they should. I'm not doubting you, but I personally haven't experienced those problems. I will continue to watch this very closely. Thanks for pointing it out!
