"Elvis Is Back" (1960). Elvis' first post-Army album has some of the finest blue-eyed soul to ever cut a groove in vinyl.

WOW!  I didn't expect to find Gentle Giant on here (or anywhere).  "Octopus" was my first Gentle Giant album, but in the end, it was one of the ones that I listened to the least.  My favorites are their first album, "Acquiring the Taste," "Free Hand," and "The Power and the Glory."  I often play the intro to the song "Wreck" while checking levels before shows.

I have a couple Gentle Giant LPs. I had a big phase where I was getting into all the British "prog" and "art rock" stuff. My first was their self titled record. Love the album art.
It looks to me like "Octopus" was done by Roger Dean, the guy who did Yes's covers.
