Phantom's Review: Excellent, old fashioned ghost story. No splashy special FX. no over the top acting, just good solid performances from the all the stars  a wonderful creepy atmosphere.and some genuine chills. This is what a ghost story should be like.

"Troll Hunter" 2010: Finally saw this film that has garnered so much attention. I liked it but I wasn't crazy over it. The Norwegian humor is very dry, and it's pretty slow going in parts, but the trolls are great fun and the whole set-up with Hans the troll hunter is pretty amusing. I did not like the shakey cam though. It's really distracting and I wish film-makers would just move on. The shakey cam makes ME feel like I am moving on, and on...

Lake Placid(1999) this film is  truely funny and exciting to watch. One of the best and memorable quotes, is the one Betty White delivers. Classic Betty White.

It's had some raves but I thought it was rather lame. 5.5/10 skulls at best. Buy A haunting box set off Amazon and you'll get many more scares. That I would rate a 7+/10 and it's a frickin TV show.
