Hey fryinpan1- I like your suit of armour alot. Great!

Looks very nice...usually you see those gaudy Mexico-made one piece tin suits, but yours appears very intricately made and realistic.

What exactly is it?

Nice clean, organized bachelor pad fryingpan.

Thanks! It is full-scale authentic reproduction armor with aluminum plates. About 6 feet tall (27 1/2 x 15 3/4 x 71"h). That particular one is usually available on Ebay.

 Hey Fryinpan,
I see you have a print of Frazetta's unused piece he did for the "From Dusk 'Til Dawn" film, why they went with the other poster art is beyond me :-\
Where'd you snag that bad boy?

Thanks,
Tom

Print No.147

Frazetta has created some great artwork. Another one of my favorites is the Wolfman.

 Cool! Thanks!
It's been awhile since I've visited Frank's site, and I don't remember all of those prints being available the last time I was there.
Such an amazing body of work, and I'd agree his Wolfman piece is pretty tight!
To get back on topic, I am thoroughly floored and amazed by all of the Monster rooms folks have posted here.
Unfortunately, there's no green emoticons to show how envious I am! ;D
Thanks for sharing!

Harry, you are correct, and he's licensed the image to a comic book company who is producing a one shot comic based on the painting, which is also the cover. Last I heard it is due out near Halloween.

Hey everyone

My Universal Classics collection is still in its early stages but I figured I'd share what I've got:

(the old Topstone Frankenstein mask is my first ever piece, dating back to my childhood...have a lot of trick-or-treating memories with that mask)

(This is my most treasured item...these cufflinks belonged to Boris Karloff and were donated by Sara to a charity auction back in '95)

And some other items in my collection:

(not sure if Mrs Bates qualifies as a Universal Classic)

Thanks for looking;
Lee

Wow!  I can see why you treasure those cuff links!  Awesome!

Toy Ranch

Very nice, Lee.

And many of us are into a lot more than Universal Classics, although they are near and dear to the hearts of most horror fans.  That Mrs Bates is awesome.  Who did it?

lblambert

Thanks guys...I really appreciate the comments.

To answer your question Toy Ranch, the Mrs Bates was sculpted by David Lady and the greyscale finishing was done by Sam McCain.
