I just saw this tonight and all I can say is "WOW."  The French are putting out some great horror films......

This is near the top of my list of films to see.  I've heard only great things about it.  For those who don't like gore in their horror films, stay away from it. 

As far as French Horror goes, I wasn't that crazy about High Tension.  Irreversible however was a great horror film.  Those are the only (fairly) 2 recent ones I've seen.  Any others to recommend?

With the kid being born sometimes I lose touch with the movies out there, especially ones from overseas. I loved Haute Tension and did not get a chance finish Irreversible but this post reminded of it and now I will finish watching it. I just looked up this movie, INSIDE,  and just ordered a copy. I can't wait to see it.

What about Frontiers(s)?  I haven't seen it yet, but its getting pretty good reviews.

OK, I watched Inside this evening.  "WOW" is my reaction too.  It's an intensely brutal, extremely gory, and VERY SCARY horror film.  In a genre that too often lately thinks if they use buckets of animal viscera and blood that's all it takes to make a horror film, this one delivers across the board.  Great horror film.

Anyone see "Them". I believe it was another flick from France which got rave reviews. I also heard The Strangers, which is coming out soon,  is a remake of "Them".

Although not as good as "Inside", I did enjoy "Them."  It was a little more low budget.  I am going to see The Strangers today.  So far, the reviews are good.
