I Was a Teenage Custom Mego

I'm always keeping an eye open for great deals on custom monster figures!

I'm fully poseable and have genuine hair (and I'm not talking about on my head!)

Body of a Boy, Mind of a Monster! Soul of an unearthly thing! Hips of a 70-year old!

You know if he was REALLY a teenage Frankenstein, he wouldn't have his own box. He would live in the upstairs portion of his parent's box.

here's some teaser photos of the Wolf Man. More pics when he is up on Ebay.

He's not just any Wolf Man. He's specifically the Wolf Man as he appeared in House of Frankenstein. Note the distinctive fur patterning and the fully poseable flat feet.

a Full Moon joke comes to mind.....

Third on the block will be for all the Karloff fans out there: The Raven!

Keep watching Ebay!

These are spectacular!  The Teenage Frankenstein looks better than the Amok Time version.  All three hit the spot.  Everyone, this is a rare chance to own a Matt Jaycox piece.  He doesn't sell his work often.

Thank you Matt for sacrificing your children to the UMA cause.  I'm sure they will go to good homes.

Those are very cool, Matt. You have a lot of talent!

By the way, for anyone not interested in bidding, but still wanting to help out...is there also a way to directly donate money for the Toy Tour? And if so, who should we send it to?

I make all my own boxes. They are very high resolution, have a gloss finish, and every effort is made to make them appear factory produced.

With regards to the figures. The amount of "me" in the head scultps varies. Sometmes I do 100% of the sculpt (as with Teen Frankie, and my Hammer Monsters, Christopher Lee etc), sometimes I modify existing heads (Raven Karloff is a modification of Sideshow's Son of FRakenstein head).

The clothes ae nearly always sewn by me (except in such circumsances as the Raven figure, where a CTVT tuxedo worked so beautifully, that I figured what was the point in sewing my own. Although I did tailor it differently)
