When I was about 7, we were vacationing in Rhode Island. While I was showering in the cabin I was singing the theme to The Banana Splits so loud that my parents and the other adults outside (some complete strangers) heard me.

Well, my mom sneaked in to see what I was doing, and thought it was so funny that she brought my dad and all these STRANGERS into the bathroom to hear me. When I found out I was MORTIFIED. I think I stayed in the cabin for the rest of the trip, only venturing out after I was sure the coast was clear of giggling strangers LOL!!

Yes, as Monsterphile already stated, And it was directed by Richard Donner, although I didn't know that when I was a kid watching it.

Scatter--- That's quite a mortifying tale about innocently humming the Banana Splits theme. And there's some old Underdog comics and coloring books and drinking glasses and Daikin made a nice Underdog figure and there's other vintage toys and things if you're looking to collect some Underdog stuff. Also a few years back they made some nice plastic figures of him and sweet Polly and Riff Raff and Simon Bar Sinister.
