Man, what a SHORT obit! I heard about this while listening to public radio this afternoon where they did a really nice feature on him. Right Down The Line was another terrific tune. Unfortunately, January is proving to be a busy month for the Grim Reaper thus far. Gerry left behind some unforgettable and powerful music... he will be missed.

DAMN!  He is one of my all-time favorite singers, second only to Gordon Lightfoot.  Listen to his cds/albums at least every other week, all day long.  Man, 2011 sucks, death-wise, so far...
