Thanks for the heads up. I ordered one.
I HAD the QMX ring but I brought it to show someone and left it in the glove compartment of my car and of course my car got broken into and some ass clown stole it.

I think that this is still a pre-order item. There was a thread about this and the higher end ring

Factory Entertainment is doing these.  Entertainment Earth has them as does Monsters In Motion has them for pre-order as well.  I believe they're expected to arrive in October.  Universal Licensed and everything (not Lugosi but still cool).

Factory is charging $200 for theirs, what is the difference between the two.

Factory is doing both rings.  The $200 one is made with real silver while the $50 is metal.  You can also buy them through Sideshowtoy.com

That is Cool. You guys are great for posting stuff like this. >:D

If these are pot metal (a safe assumption IMO) they they can't really be resized.

Maybe it's adjustable with a notch in back of the band?

Count_Zirock

They only come in one size, 10 1/4. That's the size of the actual prop. I have this, and it's really nice. The display box is a bit on the cheap side, though. Also ordered the Elite Edition, but I had to return it, as it was damaged. Still awaiting my replacement.

Anyone who got the 'cheap' version know what the metal is? I wonder how it compares to the QMX ring?

I have the 50.00 version.  It is nice, but I think I will order the 199.00 version since it solid sterling silver.  The metal on this ring is that copper colored stuff.  Not sure what its called, but when I was trying to shine it up a bit, some of the metal color came through.  I bought this ring since its cast off the original, and the original was a base metal too, not sterling like most think.

Hope this helps Bob

Is the detail on the actual product as muted as it appears to be in the stock photo? It is hard to tell that it is a bat and 4 crowns on the shield in their photo. Is it better on the $199 silver version?

I wonder exactly what they mean by "cast off the original"? That means they borrowed it from the new owner of the FJA original? I know FJA was lightly involved in the QMX ring. I wonder how the QMX stacks up to the $199 Factory ring?

Funny, I was just talking about the ring here:

Both are great.

To answer your question Monster Bob, the ring is not crisp like it is a new freshly sculpted ring.
It looks, and feels, like wearing Forry's ring (except for the repaired band) so it replicates the wear of Forry's.
That said, in person, it looks much better to the photos.

I wore mine recently while working and we actually came to a standstill while people tried it on and took pix.
I have what someone recently referred to as "murderer's hands" so I have to wear it as a pinky ring, but, being of Italian decent, an outstanding pinky ring makes me feel comfortable.

Lastly, yes, Factory Entertainment did cast it off the original but with no noticeable degradation.
I heartily recommend them!
