Glenn Shadix

The man who played Otho the decorator, a very funny role, in BEETLEJUICE and was the voice of the Mayor of Halloween Town in THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS passed away at the early age of 58.  He died from the results of a fall at his home in Alabama.  Health problems restricted him to a wheel chair toward the last of his life.  Shadix did a vast number of voices in animated series over the years.  Odds are, a large per centage of UMA members have heard his vocal talents in such series as JACKIE CHAN ADVENTURES, HERCULES, and THE MASK.  He also appeared in several episodes of the quirky series CARNIVALE.  Gone far too soon, rest in peace, Glenn.

He was also very funny in Demolition Man. He was a fine actor and very nice in person. It's very sad to lose him at such an early age.

What a nice person.  The last time he was at chiller he and my wife hit it off so well that he gave her a number of autographs and didn't charge her.  What a sad loss.
