Love The Shadow! I even enjoyed the Baldwin movie, very much I might add.

The Spider all the way. The only version of The Shadow I liked were the OTR shows ,The Serial and Shadow Behind the Mask movie even though none of them are very much alike. I read a few of the novels and found them rather boring.
I've a couple Doc Savage books but just couldn't get into them that much.

The Spider,if you have never read any is action packed and very violent. Many of the stories I would classify as "weird menace". If follywood didn't screw it up this could be great movie material.

Yep,seen em both a couple times. Fun stuff and action packed. I'd like to see one done today but set in the original time period.
