Actress Patricia Neil age 84 died sunday of Lung Cancer at her home in Edgartown, Mass.

She was a shining light in things like THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL, HUD, A FACE IN THE CROWD, GHOST STORY and many more solid films.  Rest in peace, Miss Neal.

Had the pleasure of meeting her at Chiller many years ago. A classy, beautiful and VERY talented lady. Gone but never forgotten...

She was awesome and had a wonderful career and a great voice.Anyone who was married to Roald Dahl has to be magnificant :) R.I.P. Miss Neal....

 I remeber her in a big time movie with John Wayne, IN HARM'S WAY. John Wayne was a Navy commander, and Patricia was in charge of nurses.
Even a man who is pure in heart,and says his prayers by night,may become a wolf, when the wolfbane blooms, and the moon is full and bright, AAHHOOoooo

Since I was a kid, we've enjoyed her as well, every christmas, in the The Waltons Christmas movie which inspired the TV show about a simpler time
