Liked House of the Devil? Try "Babysitter Wanted"... it was released a little before HOD but has a very similar vibe ( and plot ).

Over the last week or so I've watched:
Kick-Ass (way violent but definitely worth watching)
Supergirl (Helen Slater was adorable in the suit, but the rest of the movie suuuuucked)
Duel (definitely better than average TV-movie fare)
The Shining (still creepy as hell 30 years later)
The Screaming Skull (I prefer the MST3K version myself)

Did I miss something? I thought it would never end, and don't know that I would have called that an ending!

Definitely watch the film again. The movie is slow, but eventually builds up.
Creepy movie, I would say. Maybe I missed something?

"Play Dead" (1985)........I got this solely because the glorious Yvonne DeCarlo was in it. Alas, even she could not polish this turd.

"The Devil's Hand" (1961).........I got this because Robert Alda was in it. What a snoozer.
