Yes, I am sure that secretly Nancy WANTS you to play with that doll action figure and change its outfits. That will keep you busy and out of her hair! She's playing you like a piano brother!

IT'S NOT A DOLL!! It's a fully articulated action figure, thank you. And, since I got what wanted and she paid for it, WHO'S playing WHO??  ;)

QuoteSeriously, that's awesome of her to get that for you, and I hope you really enjoy it (although you better keep it out of Jonah's sight -that head might look rather appetizing!).

We already had a close call. The Black Tornado already grabbed him off my nightstand, and was ready to dismember him until Jordan came in and saved the day (not to mention his little brother's life).

Yup.  I had an awesome Joe collection when this strip came out.  I must have had thirty dolls and all of the foreign Joes in minty condition.  Even had some boxed ones that were never played with.  It was really a nice collection.  About the only piece that I did not have that I really wanted was a blue fire rescue truck I had as a kid.  However, I decided to sell it to a dealer.  He gave me a few thousand for it and we bought furniture and a computer (our first) for the house.  We were both happy with the deal.  My favorite was the Sea Adventurer with Kung-Fu Grip.  I had the box for that one and a guy in NY that was a huge collector wanted to trade me for the box.  Guess it was hard to come by.  No regrets, but it was fun when I had it. :)

For a few thousand there's almost nothing of yours I wouldn't sell.

Could not pass it up, but it was kind of hard as it was the first collection I ever liquidated.  However, not too long after that I followed with selling all of my comics as well (that got us a sweet sound system and our first dvd player).  My motto became that if it was not displayed or being used, then sell or give away.  Still have some bin of stuff......probably time to get rid of whatever is in them as well.

I know we all have seen theses countless times before. But, I picked up the Telco Wolman and Imperial Kong
for three dollars a piece. Every weekend, the place I purchased theses bad Boys has a garage sale.

This wasn't in the greatest shape, plus a little yellow tint on the blister part. Again, the price was good,
at two dollars.

Nice scores! Is that Imperial Kong the same height as the motionette?

Congrats, Deadman - I'm green with envy!!  Zombie In Luv

Ed: Just saw your comments -doesn't seem tall enough to be the actual statue but it looks exactly the same. Still very cool!

I got it at Toy Anxiety in Phoenix. you live around here too, don't you Moonshadow? it's a good likeness, but a miniture version in plastic. I bet it had that base as well.

...or is it the Medicom figure seen on this page:  http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_041601.htm

Wouldn't the Sideshow figure be 12" tall?
