I'm grateful to Slipknot for putting my adopted state on the map for more than corn, pigs & football. Such a loss.

I can't keep up with all this sorrow! I was really floored over the last two, but now this is just getting unbearable. I usually don't read a lot of news, but I feel like I want to find out some answers. I really liked Slipknot and respected their dedication to their art. I haven't really listened to their music lately, but I guess now it's even more precious.

Ok....this links to a point of curiousity for me.

I've come across an ongoing line of "slipknot" masks, and then just saw the obit in todays LA Times, which mentioned that The Band Slipknot was known for wearing masks.

Can someone enlighten me?

Pretty much what it said, they performed in masks and the bands rising popularity spawned those masks to be made into merchandise.  I'm not a fan but as far as I know their identities were relatively unknown when the band started out.

WTF!!!!! Didn't Slipknot just decide to call the band quits, after so many years?
I think their tour ended in Las Vegas, for Fangoria's Trinity of Terrors?
