As you'll read in a minute, Composer Micheal Giacchino recently conducted his LOST score live for a packed house at Royce hall in UCLA. Here is the rehearsal for that night. Perhaps you'd like to click here and listen to the music as you peruse this post.

This picture was taken on the very first day I filmed in March of 05!

Although I was usually filthy...

... the show had some perks, like working with some of the best actors on television, like Jorge, Micheal Emerson Terry O'Quinn and Evangeline Lilly.

Recently, as the series has been winding down, there has been a plethora of oppurtunities to share in, like  last weeks edition of Entertainment Weekly magazine.

And today's issue of USA TODAY!

On this past Thursday I was invited to join a  group of series regulars and a handful of guest stars to take part in the LOST FINALE event at UCLA.

What a great night. The family came along.

We got to see my old FUGITIVE friend, Scotty Caldwell.

Make up man, Steve LaPorte.

And our old pal Benny was even there in spirit!

It was a bittersweet moment for our family, as Kelly reminded us all how much fun we had with Ben in Hawaii!

The evening continued with producers introducing us to the packed theatre and then compser Michael Giacchino conducted his haunting LOST original music. Here he is at the after party.

Closed out the week with the signing of 750 cards for the newest RITTENHOUSE set of LOST trading Cards.

BTW, here is Buster and I the last time I signed some cards.

In the 750 cards I couldn't resist the chance to, once again, create a CHASE set. I inserted 10 cards that contained quotes of Dr. Arzt dialogue.

It was some fun time on the show, boy. I am sitting here listening to Giachinno's music and getting a little choked up.

Thank you for all of your support of the show. Here is to hoping that it goes out, NOT with a Whimper, but a great BIG BANG!

Dan,

I always enjoy your posts, especially the ones where you take the time to put together photos with captions.  Plain fun!  Just wanted to let you know it is appreciated at this end and hopefully you continue these type of installments at UMA.

Thank you, this is so beautiful. Our family has a special place in our hearts for Mr. Giacchino. We listen to his Disney soundtracks on a daily basis and we cheered like maniacs during the Oscars. :)  I will now have to check Itunes for the Lost music. Yay! I also appreciate all the inside photos and memories  you've shared, Mr. Gracebuster. This is wonderful!

THAT WAS AWESOME! lol. Nothing like looking at pictures with meaningful orchestra music playing in the background. Makes them more meaningful somehow. Great pics too of you and Ben.

Hey Danny--thanks for sharing your evening and recaps. Made me kinda misty a week early!

Love the morgue shot!

Had thought about attending the concert/ finale but the date snuck up on me.

Was thinking that we'll all miss the good Doctor Arzt, but he will live on in DVD forever!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing, Dan. It must be great to have been a part of such a fantastic show.

Uncula

Thanks for the pictures  & captions, Dan.  Because the show was so convoluted, we didn't watch the last couple of seasons.  And while your "death scene" came rather early in the show, it even made an impact on my wife Debbie.  You might say that in your death you "busted with grace".
May you always have great success as a wonderful actor and as they say in the theater "break a leg".
