So, from past post I noticed there are some UMA members who are KISS fans. Maybe
few and far between?
But, just wanted to know if anyone has a favorite KISS colectible?
Whether it be a toy, magazine, LP, rare items, foreign or anything. Even if your not a KISS fan(atic),
maybe you own something KISS related?

I myself own tons of stuff. My favorites include: Mego's KISS  dolls, rare 7" and 12", vintage toys,
posters, art and etc.

Hmmm...good question, I have most of early stuff and its the original pressings on vinyl.

My favorite record I had was Ace's...it actually had the cellaphane on it with a slit cut out. Still had the interlocking poster puzzle, even the original merch order form.

When I was 18 or so I brought it to a friends house...he moved...with my record.

Now I recently got a Paul Stanley Mego, not in perfect condition but pretty damn nice.

I'll take a pic of this one...come to think of it, its my fave and has a cool personal story behind it. It's a import poster from the U.K....It's a pic of Gene...only his head is that of the demon from his boots, and there is 2 decapitated "Gene heads" where his demon boot would be....I just moved into my new place and waiting on a new frame as soon as I do I'll snap a shot.

Really cool artwork!

Cool stuff. I remember seeing that particular Gene poster before, wow!!! I just discovered a few days ago, that
a poster I purchased at Fangoria weekend of horrors 2008( 'cause there's always tons of KISS merch at booths)
of a Attack of the PHANTOMS. I paid twenty dollars, it's worth over a hundred dollars. Now, I'm in shock.

One of my favorites is a mini bubblegum record called a chew-bop, of the Unmasked LP. There's a Dynasty
one floating out there too. But, very hard to find.

I actually really liked McFarlane's Pyscho Circus action figures too...pretty cool spin on the characters.

As a teenager, i would collect color photo's from music magazines, and i kept them in plastic protective sheets, and my son now obtains them because he grew up with my videos, and photo's. As for my prized posession, me & my son both met Gene Simmons in person about 2 yrs ago, and we have an autographed bottle of KISS cologne signed by Gene as we were on a small platform with him, and took photo's. My son met Paul Stanley last year, he was in town here in phila, and was at our local FOX tv station. My son was able to meet him, shake his hand and he signed one of the old magazine photo's that i kept after all these yrs.

That's such a  cool story! I met Gene and Paul at Worldwide KISS conv. 1995. Later that year, the whole band during the reunion tour
came to the Hard Rock hotel. It was almost comparable to Beatlemania, and that night was so crazy. I got swept up into the
crowd. It was really fun and cool! I think it was a promo for FOX tv?  The band decended from a helicopter(well,
pretended to) then the crowd let loose. Very cool. night. Zombie Razz

Marsattacks, that KISS convention in 1995 must have been something else for a lifelong, diehard fan. At the time, they were at the lowest point of their career (pre-reunion) and it looked like that might be the end of KISS.

First: Gene & Paul actually came to the convention.
Second: They took REQUESTS!!!

I've seen footage of that convention and it wasn't even particularly crowded, and the whole thing seemed pretty casual, with Gene & Paul sitting on stools talking with the audience. You'll likely never see that again or get that close to the band again!

I seriously miss that era of KISS. I thought the whole Renenge thing was fantastic. Just a rock band with a metal edge that celebrated its early roots.

Unplugged came around and I thought that was fantastic too....nothing wrong with homage to your club roots and 95 was that time.

To RRW and BlackLagoon....Yes, that particular era was my favorite also. The Las Vegas Conv.. was cool and more
intimate. I couldn't ask for more... Every KISS item I have owned,  I had the band sign, including Eric and Bruce.
The Conv. was so much fun. I think every KISS fan that day was extremely lucky. KISS played some of most
obscure songs, which was also great! The L.A. Conv. was insane!!!! So much different.

If KISS did the Convention today, It would be totally different. I believe back in "95" their mentality was in a
whole different world. They were trying to hold on to their fan base. Which back then was pretty dismal.
So as the Conventions hit, and took off. KISS was back in action. Again it revitalized the KISS spirit.......

The KISS reunion tour was awesome itself. My friends and I traveled to the ends of the earth to catch
all of the reunion shows. Some shows were good, some great. I'm very glad I got to witness those shows too.

I'm a huge KISS fan aswell. I have a very sizeable kollection, spanning from the 70s to present day. I kollect mostly just KISS 'toys' or novelty items. I'd say my favorite items from my kollection are my set of Mego dolls, my '77 Lunchbox, or my Marvel comics from '77 & '78.

I've been kollecting for about 16 yrs. now, and like any true kollector, I am always looking for missing items in my kollection...lol...
Oh yes, there will be blood!

Me too....... I collect vintage and new items, and I really went Krazy during 1993 to 2003. Lots of Kool
Kollectibles during the reunion/Psycho Circus/Farewell tours. Favorite pieces: Mego figures, Colorforms,
inflatable chair, blood fountain, vintage posters, and picture disc.   But really, I totally love all my collection.

The Colorforms set is very high on my list of wants right now, but E-Bay is just insane lately for this set.

True!!! My wonderful Wife purchased a set of colorforms for me about 3yrs ago on ripoffBay.
Because I had sold my original set, I owned when I was a kid. KISS colorform are becoming harder
to locate, and more expensive. I 'm still trying to find a REMCO KISS your face make-up kit. But. again
when I do see one for sale, the kit is usually in three to four hundred dollar range.  >:(
