Great stories, everyone, and that sounds like quite a project, Elisabeth.

I certainly enjoy face-to-face interactions much better, but sometimes it's just not possible, which is fine.  I just ordered an autographed photo from Janina Faye's web site (Horror of Draclula) which I can't wait to receive.

Here is an autograph display that I came up with for Bob Herron who played one of the Mole People from the movie of the same name.  Back when some store had the 8" Sideshow figure marked down, I picked up an extra Mole Person and did a cut down version to simulate one of them crawling out of the ground.  (That's about the extent of my ability to customize.  lol)  I set up a little terrarium-like thing-a-ma-bob.  Like usual, the photos don't do it justice.   --Rob

That's a really neat idea! I may have to "borrow" it at some point for one of my autograph displays.

Illoman

That is an incredible way to display an autograph!! Nice job.

While not monster connected, I thought you might like these also.  I finally got a Yvonne Craig to round out this batch.

Rob, this is a display I can really DIG!  You have the most inventive displays I've ever seen!

Rob, I love the way you display your autographs, not sure where you hang all these, but very cool to look at!

While it is all very cool, I wanna know about the Groucho statue peeking his head up from behind! What's the story with *that*? I love it!!

Mike,

It's a flask/bottle and the base is a music box that plays "How Dry I Am."  The head comes off and has a cork on the bottom.  There's a JAPAN label on the bottom.

Brian,

I have started to hang some stuff up in the hallway outside my room, although the Batman stuff is still waiting.  The Mole Perosn one is on the shelf where the figure was before, but now it's doing double duty as a figure and autograph item.

Not every one of my autographs gets its own display.  Most have to go into the binder, although I'll usually try to make a nice page with varous photos/images.  I do have some displays that need to be created though.  I have  Anthony Perkins and the recent Todd Armstrong that need something special.  I hope to do something for the original Star Trek using an original TV Guide and miniature Enterprise.  I have Shatner , Nimoy, Doohan, Koenig, Takei, and Nichols.  Once I get a DeForest Kelley, I'll go ahead with that one.

The Mole People and Batman displays are awesome.  Very innovative.  Thanks for sharing, guys.

Hi, Y'all.  Thought I'd give you a "Heads UP".  Mario.  There is a Clive Autograph listed on EBAY for $99.95.  It's an album page, and it says that there's a COA....but I think something is wonky.  Mario, we really need your expertise on this one...The listing is from Oklahoma.

I just don't want any of our guys to get taken, and my gut says it's a phony...  The sig itself looks legit, but the "Best Wishes" matches neither the sig or other samples  I've seen of his writing.

Check it out...but proceed with caution

I'am no expert, but I would not go for it, always go with that little interior voice you hear, it is usually right. Mario
