And we also need to see the ones Monolith's older brother painted for him so many years ago!

Here they are. I always looked up to my brother, so anything he gave me I took care of and cherished. These and some other '60's monster items that he gave me are what started me collecting. I've had these since the '60's and they are in the same condition as when I got them.

First choice for me was no contest, The Wolfman....love that image!  The second choice was a little harder so I just went with my old standard, "Who's your favorite monster?" answer, Frankenstein!  Don't own any of them but of course wish I did!

Frankenstein is still clinging to the lead over Dracula here!

I voted Dracula and Mummy.  I used to have Frankenstein,Dracula, Wolfman and Phantom (wish I still did) I never saw the Mummy before. I like the paint scheme and likeness of Lon Chaney Jr. That's why it got my vote. I just don't care much for the makeup version of the Wolfman from Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein. Westmore was not on the same level as Pierce IMHO. Even though the actors I am sure preferred Westmore's rubber appliances over 4 hours or more in a makeup chair, Pierces' makeup was more realistic looking.

it's quite the two-way battle here between Frankenstein and Dracula for the gold!

A suggested paint scheme is typically part of the instruction sheet for these paint-by-number sets. Your real problem would be finding an unused set in the first place, and then at the price you'd have to pay it wouldn't make any sense whatsoever to "vandalize" the sheets of the mint set by painting them.

Couldn't these be easily xeroxed and distributed to all members who care to have a painting (coloring?) contest?

They could, if anybody has opened boxes of all the P-B-N and is willing to scan them for us.

I'd like to have a scan on the Creature box art (front) to make a fake SPP binder!  :)

Even if we did just one to begin with, may be a hoot! Most of us will never see one in person, let alone own one...
