Would you guys ever think they'd do a 3.75" Mr. Hyde from the Abbott and Costello film? Like how Diamond Select did?

I hope you like that Diamond "Dr. J & Mr. H", 'cause that may be the only one you'll ever get.

Would you guys ever think they'd do a 3.75" Mr. Hyde from the Abbott and Costello film? Like how Diamond Select did?  Not sure if its part of the Universal licensing "package" or if DST personally wanted that character for their line.  Also its not a Karloff likeness so no need to get Sara involved. Surely I'd prefer Mr. Hyde over the Mole People...does anyone even like the Mole People?? (torches down please, that's a joke...or is it?)

Not likely. The artist was commissioned to do 12 paintings from the whispers in the wind. 6 of those make up wave 1. Four of the Six remaining pieces of art have been revealed on the sodas or the art prints: Invisible Man, Lugosi Dracula, Frankenstein's Monster and The Bride of Frankenstein. That leaves 2 other as yet unknown characters. If I had to guess, I would say they are Phantom of the Opera (non Red Death) and either Quasimodo or The Werewolf of London. If wave 1 doesn't do well....they may not even bother to move forward. So I hope someone besides me is doing their duty in this army, peeps. Man your posts dang it!!! ;D ;)

It took me more than a "couple hours", but here are the Frankenstein Bucket pictures I promised:

Placed it next to a known object for size comparison.  The Super7 Bucket's face is so fat, I think he looks better displayed at a slight angle rather than straight on.

What a difference 54 years make.

I like the one on the left. I will trade you a couple of this week's new comics, and a box of ho hos and a 4 pack of georgia Peach Coke for it. It's a good deal....take me up on it,lol.  ::) ;D ;D ;)

Got my Creature Bucket today.

This isn't soft blow mold plastic. It's rigid and looks like it may crack easily.

I was kind of on-the-fence but I'm glad I bought it. It's much cooler in-hand than the S7 pics indicate. And, since it's the only CFTBL Candy Bucket it's pretty much a must-have for Creature collectors. I would have very much preferred an accurately sculpted one but at less than $30 with shipping (and the code) I takes what I can gets;D

I like the Mole People. I have the Don Post reissue mask. It's the 3.75" figures that I'm not into. It's all cool though. If we were all exactly the same it would be a pretty boring UMA...and world, for that matter.  8)

Mole People is a none to subtle commentary on the working class vs. the rich class.  Guess which one I would be??Here's a hint, I would be diggin up mushrooms and being beat with a whip.

If ever a film was ripe for re-making, it's the Mole People. Because the working class bears the burden of supporting the elites with their overpaid salaries, and the leeches at the bottom who refuse to work even though they are able. It's a drag.

We are all The Mole People, lol.  8)

How fat is he?  ;D

Maybe you shouldn't display him next to the '60s bucket.

Doesn't look like there is much contrast in the paint scheme. Especially sitting that Grave Walker. (Begs for a custom paint job!)

I'll just leave mine the way it is. If it were accurately sculpted it would be different, but it's just a caricature in the style of a kid's toy...a candy bucket. It's fine for me the way it is. I don't usually alter my collectibles unless I buy extras, or do it in a way that can be undone (like drawing an overlay for a DD figure card). I'm sure there'll be plenty of custom paintjobs done for it by others anyway.

Are you going to repaint yours?

Same with the Frankenstein Bucket.  You can hardly see the eye shadow in person.  Both the Super7 and my pictures make the purple around Frank's eyes look darker - it's not.

I'll bet DirtyHorse could make these look a lot better.  I'm not going to spend the money on an $18 Bucket to find out.

(Imagine what Dan could do with one of the Repro Clinton Frankenstein Buckets.)

A little out of my price range, I'm afraid. Would love to see a pic of somebody else's!

Maybe we'll see some of his handy work, like on last years Monsterville products?  :)

Yeah, but those were well-sculpted to begin with. It's hard to imagine these improving much.

May the Bird of Paradise fly up your nose.

I thought of placing him next to other toys, but decided that it was the classic Clinton bucket to which everyone would be comparing him.

They could have made the face a bit narrower.  It would still have held enough candy for today's "trunk-or-treaters".
