LOL  Here you are over here in my corner of the memorabilia world now!  I'm the one with the Frankenstein ring, and used to have the Japanese Creature--which I think i left on a restroom sink in a fast food joint somewhere between Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.  Drat!  I hope Bobby can post the pics, too.  Maybe we'll move those posts over here.

No, I went to Ebay and found it, and that's not the same Creech ring I had and lost--my ring had the Creature's clawed hand up next to his face--but that is my Frank. ring.  And a beauty it is!

I know when I saw the set at Chiller Drac, the wolfman and mummy were the only ones a seller didn't have.  The creach with the claw was awesome but $250 was a little out of my price range at the time.  I could kick myself now.  I do know the guy on ebay said he could recreate it but.... it's not the same.  I loved the mutant but my little picture does not do any of the rings justice.  If I could have found the Dracula, which is clearly Lee, I would have bought it... it looks like a keeper.  I think the guys prices on ebay are definitely reasonable and good quality.

Those are really cool.  I've never seen the originals before.  The mutant and stuff are awesome!

Thanks, Bobby.  I really am hopeless sometimes.

The JAP, Inc. Frankenstein ring pictured is Sterling silver and evidently licensed.  If you will notice the pitting inside the face, it looks as if it was made with a technique (who's name I do not recall) where the image is hammered into a mold from the back.  That would explain the numerous cracks that were not part of the design.

The ring is much prettier in person.  The cracks that look so big in these oversized pictures are hardly noticeable as faint spider web lines at normal size.  I think they add to the stitched-together look of the monster's face.

The distinctive snap top box is original to the ring.  I have seen the same box pictured with this ring in several eBay auctions.

Does anybody know what year(s) the monster rings were produced?

I know they were on the Jap-inc website in 2004-5ish I think.  May have been earlier.  The years blend together.  I can't get anyone at the company to answer e-mails asking questions about them.

Creepy

Has there ever been a Christopher Lee Drac ring produced?  I'm thinking of the one used in films like Dracula AD 1972 or Taste the Blood of Dracula.

Got my QmX Dracula ring today (thanks, Pat!) and have been wearing it ever since -- yeah -- I know it's a "collectible" and oughta be on a display shelf -- but it's so damn much FUN to play like I'm Lugosi!!!!!  "De cheeldren of de night -- vat myoozeek dey make!"

Love to see those rings! One of the things Iwas particular about in creating my Horror host character, lon madnight is that he would wear rings. I was lucky enough to get one of the Sheffeild rings about ten years ago, and Lon has worn it ever since. I had heard of both the Mummy and Chaney Spider rings, and fantasized about Lon wearing all three.

I was looking at the QMx ring, and as beautiful as it is, I'd have to pass, given the opportunity. those rings are size nine, and I could never wear it. Hopefully I'll one day rundown a Dimensional Designs ring which I beleive are large enough for me to wear.
