Monolith

Not sure what this is, but it's awesome, maybe a reconstruction of one of those now extinct giant apes.

I could be wrong (and lord knows that's a regularity here!) but it looks like Gigantapithicus.

That's correct OG. Munns has done a wide variety of work, including extinct creatures. You should really check out his pictures; he's a talented guy.

Thanks for the link Moonshadow--I've seen most of the movies he's worked on,too. I didn't know that was him in the photo. His work is awesome!
