No, I'm not talking about Unknown Primate and Scatter - although they ARE favorites around here -but those crazy apes of yesteryear, whether they be on film, TV, toys, comics, etc.

I'll start off with a couple:

"The only good human is a dead human!" -General Ursus:

One of the coolest ideas: put wings on a gorilla! The biotech folks needs to get on this:

And just because I find this endlessly amusing:

Re: POTA Musical. Thanks for making me squirt coffee out my nose!

King Kong, Toho Kong, Ceasar from the POTA series.

A special nod to the old Hollywood gorillas from the '30's & '40's & Charles Gemora. They deserve a place along side our favorite classic monsters & actors.

King Kong is my all time fave--there is another Kong my childhood wouldn't be complete with out....though I often hated his guts!

Bogey: As a child I loved Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp! Unfortunately it came on at the same time as some show my big brother wanted to see, so I rarely got to see it.  :'(

What bumped it, do you remember?

Monolith

the original Kong was, is, and always will be my favorite.
As a kid I had some kind of ape fetish-apes all over my room. Pictures , toys, models.
Here I am with a gorilla sculpture, not sure where this is, probably a zoo.

Here I am again on one of our many road trips. I'm the one on the right.
