I was just wondering what your favorite live-action batman movie is. I have to say my favorite is probably the 1943 and 1949 serials of batman. I love the way the batman looks and i love who the main villians look.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Too hard to choose between the '89 movie and The Dark Knight. I love both for different reasons.

I loved Burton's style, Keaton made a great Batman/Bruce Wayne and Nicholson defined The Joker for a generation. I remember buying tickets to this the day before due to crowds.

The Dark Knight was brillant. Bane is great and Ledger redefined the role although I wish Dent stayed alive for future sequels.

Burton's was more of a comic book onscreen and TDK played out asa gritty crime drama. They are both in my library.

"I shall awaken memories of love and crime and death..."

Toy Ranch

I really like the 1966 movie for it's cornball appeal.

Batman Begins is a great movie.

The Dark Knight is too.

The Burton Batman, I like too, but not as much.

I'll go with the 1966 because it probably won't get much love.  That and Munster Go Home are both extreme guilty pleasures of mine.

The Batman (1966) movie will be on tonight at 7pm central on FMC (Fox Movie Channel) that's 133 for Dish viewers...

I chose the '89 movie, Keaton played a good Batman and I liked Nicholson's Joker too.

The others are worth a look, but there's only one Batman in Lundyland.......Adam West, Esq!!!

Opera Ghost

As has been stated they are all excellent for specific reasons, but I first saw Batman in a 1966 TV Guide AD, and was hooked, and the Barris car is my favorite.

I loved Burton/Keaton because he brought it to the noir style of the original comics, but hated Clooney. I liked Val Kilmer better.

I do like the new incarnation as well as delivered to us by Nolan/ Bale, but as logical as they make the new films, I'm not so crazy about the tumbler.

and no one can top Alan Napier's Alfred, altho Michael Gough was close.

Loved Cesar Romero's laugh, as well as Frank Gorshin's Riddler

I echo the sentiments of my buddy OG........1966 Batman rules the roost, and every Batmobile since Barris' incarnation are only pallid peddlecars in comparison.

The 40s serials are awesome, I liked Dark Knight slightly over Keaton's because it's a bit darker. I haven't seen Kilmer's version yet.
We're all here because we're not all there.

I don't know i was wondering the same thing, when i watched the 1949 serial i was expecting a actual batmobile. But the batmobile that i saw was alright, i was just expecting a decorative batmobile!
