i changed mine to batman about a day ago. i have noticed some people avatars gone also, it has a red X on the corner.
I hate to advocate drugs, alcohol, violence, or insanity to anyone, but they've always worked for me.

Doc, here's an episode from 1949 to give you an idea. I love 'em!

Batman and Robin -1949 Trailer-

I like old serials but both the 1943 and 49 Batman ones are too cheesy and get pretty tiresome halfway in.

As I've mentioned in the past, we usually do a backyard Drive-IN for Independence Day on July 4th, but with the temps being what they've been, we've decided to do it on Saturday nights for the Summertime.

This past weekend, we did the 1966 "Batman".

Little man was very excited

On Sunday, Mykhail, age 2.5 could not wait to see it again, and went and got it to watch! Gotta love it!

I've got a DVD projector I've never even fired up......my neighbors are no fun whatsoever. Was going to show NOTLD projected on the side of the house for Halloween but we were out too late. And now it's too hot and buggy to do it.

How's the turnout for your shows?? Any neighbors come over??

We actually are bugged as well, so I picked up some Tiki torches Independence weekend, which has helped. Also, a fan (go figure) also helps.

We moved the Drive In to the backyard when LM started walking so we could actually watch the movies. People used to watch for it and stop by, as they knew to, but as the backyard is in an ongoing state of remodel, only our really close friends get invites. Perhaps next year we'll open it up again.

I original bought the projector for Halloween, but involvement in the non-profit haunt kind took away the home projects. I scripted a Rod Serling sequence for projection, which was done by an impersonator and shot in VA Beach, but still haven't used it.

Sounds cool!! I'd definitely go!!

Back to topic, I think I'm the last man alive who hasn't seen the Heath Ledger Oscar turn as the Joker. I thought I'd see this as more of a fave here.

I saw the first one and really liked it. I'm taking your advice and putting the Ledger one on. I'll let you know what I think after.
