I thought it would be cool if we post pics of our Halloween costumes and make up jobs.
Here's a couple of me as Frankie- buy that time I sweat off most of the green!
and the Planet of the Apes Gorilla and my Alien son from years past:

Sean

Great job.  I liked the gorilla soldier's coat/ top.

Excuse me for being a dope... but I don't know how to post photos here.   I have a digital camera and access to a scanner--------but how do I get those pics on HERE?

This is the kinda stuff I love to see!  Awesome make-up job! My husband and I tried to do vampire make-up for last years Halloween Party and we failed miserably. We looked blue and smeary, but we sweated it off while hosting. :)

Dr.Teufel Geist

is it just me, or is that little alien giving me the finger?  ;D

Last year our Halloween Party was themed after Hitchcock's "The Birds"

Here we are as Tippi and Hitch.

In 2008 the theme was "Sweeney Todd"

Sweeney and Mrs. Lovett. My wife made the costumes, mine from scratch, hers was a modified costume.

The year before that it was "Young Frankenstein"

Inga and "Dr. Fronkensteen"

Here's a link to additional pics from our parties.

hhhhhhhhhhhhhh- I can't breathe!!!!    These are so wonderful!!!!!   I can't even post our party pics! Reason #1- I barely can use photobucket without yelling for help   And  Reason #2- Our costumes are LAME compared to yours!  Year 1 of our annual Halloween Party- We were Donald and Daisy Duck (store bought costumes)  Year 2- Cruella and my husband insisted on being a gladiator, buy pulling a fit in the costume store that would top any 10 year old's!   year 3- ill-fated vampire costumes, etc.

Dr.Terror

Awesome pics Dwayne!   Is that your Phantom sculpt?
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

 Thanks Doc. ;)

That is the Phantom sculpt we did for Chaney Entertainment. I just cut the face out to make a half head mask.

Propman - very nice! Check out the link on my earlier post - we had our own Jack the Ripper and victims at one of our parties.
Jim, gotta love the Dick Smith make up book! It was an inspiration during my early years as well. You did a good job of the skull makeup.

OH, this thread does my Hallowe'en lovin' heart so much good!

Propman, you rock. That Phantom is killer.

Jim, a CLASSIC look from a classic make-up manual... the teeth especially look awesome!

Everyone, what a great thread.

And thank you, Mitchellmania for starting it up. LOVE the Frankenstein make-up and costume!

Hey ChrisW,

Thanks for pointing out the link!!!! Love the party pics and your garage set up. Funny how the ladies in out Jack the Ripper photos are wearing the same kind of red and black dresses. Very cool to add the paperboy as well!!!!!
I also was the photos with Frank Frazetta. Also very cool! I never got to meet him by we sold to his son Bill and his trick shop for years. He's a really cool guy and his wife looks like one of Frank's Painting. Lovely Lady to say the least! ;)

Chris & Mike, thanks. That was a book that you just had to use...it forced you. If I recall correctly the teeth were made from the wax that is used to wrap cheese (I think it was a block of Cheddar). The wax was pressed into a piece of old nylon stocking, sculpted into the teeth shape and colored with the greasepaint. What fun and I got to eat the cheese later.
