Last night on their website, Maiden was offering a free download of the new song "El Dorado". Did anybody get this yet?

I tried multiple times, but I guess every Maiden fan was as well and the page wouldn't load. I can't wait to get home and download/hear the new song.

The new album drops August 16th. I'm seeing them July 20th. This will  be the first concert that I go without hearing the album first. Doesn't matter, it's new Maiden and I'm ready...

Thanks Zombiehorror!

Listening at school, I can't jam it as loud as I want in my office, but it does sound pretty good. When I get home, it's on 10!

That comic book looking cover of the song would make a cool shirt. Not sure if I feel the new Eddie. Looks a little like the Predator to me. I do like the alien skeletons.

Up the Irons!

AWESOME!!!!!  I can't wait to get the new album and hear it all!  Have a great time at the concert Baron, you lucky dog!
Long live the UMA!

I like it!

At 1st I thought Bruce sounded a little flat--until that big chorus vocal part came in and it kicked up a bit.

Something about this reminds me a little bit of 7th Son/No Prayer era Maiden.

Either way I like it, back into the swing of things after the last album which was just too "slow" to be in my constant rotation.

This would make a cool t shirt! I love the old record/comic book look. It's the single artwork...enjoy Maiden fans...

Maiden killed the show last night in DC. Great setlist pulled mostly form the last 3 albums, a couple new ones and fan favorites. They absolutely killed Hallowed Be Thy Name.

The El Dorado pic above is the shirt I got. These guys still kick ass. I wasn't feeling the new video for Final Frontier, but I want the new album in August.

Anyone else see them on this tour? Any tours? I've only seen them 3 times: 1988, 2008, 2010.

Sounds like you had a blast!  I never have got to see them but always have wanted too.
Long live the UMA!

Monolith

I love Maiden! Looking forward to the new album.

Glad you had fun and got to see em again man!

I have so much going on at night right now I had to pass this one up--actually now that I know they're doing the majority of the last few albums it doesn't sting as bad.

I saw  Maiden do a club tour in...96 or 97 w/o Bruce and it was just great to see the other guys 10 ft away from me. Met everyone except for Bruce and Adrian, got autographs and Dave Murrays wristband.

Then again for Brave New World which was a great show--2002 (?)

The last was the Ozzfest debacle, which worked out in Maiden fans favor--over 2 hrs doing  Iron Maiden-Piece Of Mind in their entirety. Good stuff.

Looking forward to the new release--Up The Irons!!
