I'm Dave in CA. I enjoy making random appearances as the '89 Batman in a costume that has taken me over a yr to build and over an hour to suit-up. Batman is one of the ultimate costumes, as everyone in town knows your name and wants to take pics. I have many other costumes in my collection and enjoy renaissance costume events, 1800's Victorian costume events & pirate costumed events.

I've built models and enjoyed detail painting for many moons, including most of the Aurora classics over the time period of late 60's to now.

Extreme detailed painting is very meditative to me.
People who love horror movies, including classic horror movies and B-movie cheese are cool.
B-movies have their own unique forms of humor, which fans understand.
