HELLO Uri, and Welcome to UMAland. Hope you enjoy it. ;D

Hi Everyone,

You probably figured it out, but my name is Nick. I was a member here a long time ago (before the server move), and I am just now getting around to setting up my account again.

I have worked as a sculptor on the side for several years, and I specialize in all things monster related. Lately I have been working on some fiber arts projects, as well as 8" mego style action figures.

I am current revamping my actual career and going to nursing school. The program is very time consuming, so I mostly do my sculpting projects for friends and family as a form of relaxation these days.

Did I mention that I am PoseableMonster's brother? I pretty much had no choice growing up but to love monsters. It was either learn to love them or be terrified for the rest of my life.  ;D It was a little like living with a mad scientist. He liked to test his masks out on me to see if they were really scary. Oh, the stories...

I already know some of you, but I am looking forward to meeting new friends.

Thanks!

Welcome (back) Nick.

Real name is Andrew, twenty four years old.  Monster fan since I was in first grade, when I saw a vintage 12 inch Frankenstein on a Toys R Us shelf and begged to have it. Before I even saw the Universal films, my parents would regale these stories to me, and show me how they walked, and how they came to be, and the impact they had on children, even of the silver age. After that I was scolded in class for drawing monsters. The profile name is, of course, a given to Karloff fans.

Your parents demonstrate exceptional child-rearing skills. Welcome to the crypt Andrew!!

Hi. I'm Laurie Halbritter and I used to belong to this site when it was a Yahoo Group. I know a lot of people who are members here....  Have had a lot on my plate for a number of years but finally got around to joining.

Due to a lot of life circumstances, I have decided to sell my collection....  I have a large 8" figure collection as well as a lot of horror items and horror figures from the 1970s to present. I am interested in selling mini collections such as AHI monsters, Lincoln but will be selling off individually if this opportunity should arise.

I have operated toyfanatic.com and dealt there for years but sometimes didn't have a lot of time for it due to life circumstances. I recently saw a post here about updating there and AHI monsters. I couldn't find it again but fact is I have sold tons of AHI and Lincoln monsters as I upgraded my collection and have many rare pieces i will be posting on eBay under the name ESTUOY and also on my website, toyfanatic.com, which i will begin updating next week.

Along with collecting monster items, I make custom figures and sculpt and hope to be posting some of that in an appropriate section of this board. Will be releasing some horror bust kits too for modelers...

Nice to meet you all and I apologize for the mixed sales/introduction. I have some rare items ending on eBay tomorrow including some miniature Tomland monsters, listed as a lot. So I thought I should do this introduction now, in case anyone is interested.

If this isn't the appropriate section to post this, I apologize and of course, feel free to move it. I maybe should post it in the sales/trade section?

Look forward to perusing this site as I've been meaning to join for a long time. And dumping my collection doesn't mean I don't still love horror....

I am the Female Dracula

Hey Laurie, welcome to UMA! I don't collect figures and other stuff, but I know loads of other people here do, so good luck selling your items!
"Supernatural? Perhaps. Baloney? Perhaps not. There are many things under the sun...."
