I'm Buzzybean. I've been a classic monster fan my whole life, had most of the Aurora kits when I was a kid, used to watch Sir Graves Ghastly on Saturday afternoons on channel 20 out of Detroit, MI. I still collect...monsters, super heroes, huge fan of JAWS, always looking to add to my collection. I've lurked here in the past and decided to join to see if people had any answers to some questions I had about Famous Monsters of Filmland's shop, Captain Company calling it quits. A month or two before they closed shop there were some new cover posters they added to their shop. Before I could order the posters the company had shut down. I was wondering if anyone ever got to order and receive any of these? They were selling great cover images like JAWS vs A.P.E. issue, Cyclops, Fearbook Skull issue, etc. This was a great idea to reproduce these classic covers at high quality poster size. Was anyone able to secure any of these? Thanks for any info you can provide!

When they announced they were shutting down I asked them if they had any of the posters left and they said they didn't. They were blowing out a bunch of stuff. I assumed most of it was sold.
